There have been lots of lemons so far this year - they are very sweet and you can make great lemonade. This bush always seems to be in flower! There are flowers and herbs around the house and an automatic watering system which uses water collected in the orchard.

The local lanes are flat and there is little traffic - lovely for an evening stroll. This is the lane which leads to the house, showing the mountains in the distance. This is covered with poppies in Spring, often followed by wheat in the Summer. There are also some citrus groves locally - mainly orange and lemon but mandarins and grapefruit also grow well too.
